Here is a remake of ‘Geethanjali’ – Kathe Chitrakathe Nirdeshana Puttanna’ in Kannada from Dandupalya fame director Srinivasaraju hitting silver screen on January 1 in the new combination of Komal Kumar and Priyamani.


It is a horror comedy says Srinivasaraju. What you expect from Komal kind of cinema is there for family audience. It is an altogether different in my career. The protagonist as assistant struggle to become a director – for cinema direction it is ‘Puttanna’ like Taj Mahal is to Love says intelligent director Srinivasaraju addressing media. Komal Kumar remembered that the title was earlier ‘Yee Heroine Dandanaka’. We changed it. Now with this title ‘Kathe Chitrakathe, Nirdeshana Puttanna’ the controversy is more.
